Color your Embossing Folder with Ink is an easy technique which gives your project an upscale look with very little extra time. This video shows you how quick and easy it is to do this technique.
This Video is 6 minutes long.
BASIC SUPPLIES:
Big Shot or other Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
3D Embossing Folder Plate #149658
Embossing folder of your choice.
~I used the Country Floral Dynamic (now available in 3D #151823) and the Mosaic 3D #149575
Cardstock and ink pad color of your choice
~Blushing Bride cardstock with Flirty Flamingo ink pad
~Call Me Clover cardstock with Shaded Spruce ink pad
TIPS:
*1. Prepare your Big Shot for the embossing folder type you are using: Regular, Dynamic (old-style), or 3D (new-style).
~Make sure you have the correct cutting or embossing plate for your embossing folder type.
2. Color your Embossing Folder:
~Choose the side you want to color. If you cannot decide, you can color both sides. I like to write in pencil on my cardstock so I can tell which side of the folder each side is. For example: colored background, and/or colored raised images.
~Watch This Video if you need help using the NEW 3D Embossing Folders and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.
~Drag your ink pad over the whole side of the embossing folder you want inked.
~Put your cardstock in your embossing folder and run through your Big Shot.
~Remove your cardstock and admire the terrific color and contrast.
~Glue onto your card or project.
Your Color Your Embossing Folder with Ink cardstock is finished.
