Telescoping Card

I used to make a Telescoping Card using both Circle and Square dies. They are fun and pretty easy. You can stamp or write on the back if you want to. Also, The diameter of the largest green circle is 3″ so they are much smaller than they seem.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Choose your dies.

~Lay the Scallop Circle dies next to each other.
~Next choose smooth Circle dies that fit inside the Scallop Circles and will leave a border.

2. Use the Scallop dies to cut your cardstock.
~Old Olive: Large Scallop Circle die
~Gorgeous Grape: Medium Scallop Circle die
~Rococo Rose: Small Scallop Circle die
~You can stamp on them now or later. You will just have to pay attention to which side is up when you are attaching the Embossed Circles.

3. Cut and emboss your Smooth Circles.
Watch this Video if you need help using the NEW 3D Embossing Folders.
~Pear Pizzazz cardstock: Large Circle, Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder
~Highland Heather cardstock: Medium Circle die, Lace 3D Embossing Folder
~Blushing Bride cardstock: Small Circle die, Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

4. Glue the circles together:
~Pear Pizzazz onto Old Olive
~Highland Heather onto Gorgeous Grape
~Blushing Bride onto Rococo Rose

5. Attach the circles with brads.
~Lay the Purple Circles on top of the Green circles making sure they are centered. (You should also know that the Purple Circle will rotate and be upside down when you “Telescope” it.)
~Next use your Piercing Tool to poke a hole through both the Purple and Green Circles leaving about 1/4″ish from the edge of the Purple Circles.
~Put the brad through the holes and connect them together by fanning out the brad tabs.

~Now lay your Pink Circles on top of your Purple Circles. Poke a hole through both the Pink and Purple Circles so the Purple Circles will have a Brad on the “top” and “Bottom” as shown.
~Now you can put the brad through the holes and connect them together by fanning out the brad tabs.

~Rotate them just for fun by holding onto the top of the Pink Circles and the bottom of the Green Circles and gently pulling the Pink Circles and just holding the Green Circles in place.
Your Telescoping Card is now finished!
