Watermelon Hybrid Punch Art Card

I received the original Watermelon Card as a swap from Convention.  As usual I made a few changes.  The most notable being the stamp set and Designer Series Paper.  I did not have the Kind and Cozy Stamp set and I had run out of the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper AND my class was the next day.  So I downloaded the digital versions and printed them out!  You cannot tell the difference!  All my customers were impressed when I compared the “REAL” Gingham Garden scrap with the printed Gingham Garden.  So if you are in a hurry and can’t wait for it to be delivered, Download the My Digital Studio version!

1.  Cut your Garden Green card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Whisper card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Adhere to card base.
3.  Cut your Basic Black card stock at 1-1/4″ x 4″.  Cut your Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper at 1″ x 4″.  Adhere together, then adhere to page about 1/2″ from the edge of the card base aligning top and bottom edges with the Whisper White card stock.
4.  Stamp the Kind & Cozy Circle image in Garden Green ink on Whisper White card stock.  Punch out with the 2-1/2″ Circle punch.  Punch a 1-3/4″ Circle from Melon Mambo.  Adhere with Tombow Glue to the Kind & Cozy Circle.  Cut in half with scissors.  Cut one half in half again so you end up with 3 pieces.  Add the watermelon seeds and adhere with Tombow Glue.  Take a bite out using the Itty Bitty flower punch.  Adhere the big Watermelon piece with Tombow glue or SNAIL.  Adhere the two smaller Watermelon pieces with Dimensionals.
5.  Stamp desired sentiment in StayzOn Black ink using your Stamp-a-ma-jig if desired.
6.  Add a Watermelon seed to the upper left corner with Tombow Glue.  Tie a loose knot in your ribbon and adhere with Glue Dots to the upper right corner.  Use extra Glue Dots if necessary to get your ribbon to stay in the desired position.
7.  Admire this fun Summer Card.

Happy Stamping & Punching!
