Mother’s Day Card

This is the prototype for my Mother’s Day Cards.  This one will be for my Mom because she likes pastels.  I will change the colors for each of my daughters and daughters-in-laws because they like totally different colors.  Hopefully I will remember to take a picture before I mail them out.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Powder Pink card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Powder Pink card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Use one of the Petal Pair embossing folders on one side of your card front and run it through the Big Shot.  Repeat with the other side.  Glue to your card base.
3.  Die cut your flower pieces and leaves.
~Wild Wasabi Leaves:  Cut three leaves with the May Flowers Framelits.
~Berry Burst top flower layer:  Use both the flower petal die AND the framelit that fits around it to cut out this flower.  You can put 1-1/2″ x 2″ piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back of the cardstock BEFORE cutting.  This will turn it into a sticker.  Otherwise just glue it onto the bottom flower layer.
~Fresh Fig bottom flower layer:  Use the same Framelit that went around the flower petal die to cut this layer.
~Attach top flower layer to bottom flower layer.
~Attach leaves to the back of the flower.  I used Tombow Glue.  Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the flower.
~Now cut the desired Stitched Shapes Circle in Powder Pink.  Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
~Stamp your Happy Mother’s Day on Whisper White cardstock in Berry Burst ink.  Punch out with the Classic Label Punch.  Put Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back.
4.  Put it all together:
~Lay all the pieces on your embossed card front where you want them.
~Put Tombow Glue on the back of the Doily in the center circle.  Attach to card front.
~Attach the Stitched Shapes Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals centering over the Doily.
~Attach the Flower and Leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the flower and put on the Stitched Shapes Circle.
~Attach your sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals towards the bottom of the card.
Your Card is finished.
5.  Envelope-Optional:  Emboss your envelope flap with one of the Petal Pair embossing folders.
