April Paper Pumpkin

April’s Paper Pumpkin was pretty fun to make.  It has 5 different card styles and a box to put them in.  You can also cut these small 3″ x 6″ card bases in half and use on regular size card bases.  You could also attach one of the envelopes to a regular card base with one of the small cards inside or even just a 3″ x 3″ piece of stamped cardstock inside.  There are lots of possibilities with this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.

CARD BOX
April Paper Pumpkin Card BoxBox:
~Crease all score lines with your Bone Folder.  Fold into shape so you will know how it folds and everything attaches.
~Peel Adhesive backing off one end.  Fold end up.  Fold small tabs in over end.  Carefully fold Adhesive side down, making sure corner edges meet before folding down the adhesive part.
~Repeat with the other end.
Box Cover:
~Fold Box Cover and crease all folds with your Bone Folder.
~Get the Island Indigo Anchor and punch out the hole at the top.
~Stamp the Small White Circle die cut with a decoration-such as the sailboat-and a small sentiment.
~Tie the twine around the Box Cover parallel to the open edges leaving enough Twine to tie a bow.  Thread the Anchor and Small Circle die cuts through one side of the Twine.  Tie Twine into a bow.  I attached the Anchor with some Glue Dots.

FINISHING
~Match each card with an envelope and stack the five cards.  There are three envelope colors to choose from.  Insert them into the box.
~Slide the Box Cover over the box.
~You can now give this as a gift or save to use the cards and attach them to gifts or just give to someone needing to feel you care for them.
