SUPPLIES:

Simply Scored Scoring Tool #122334
Stylus: either the one that comes with your Scoring Tool OR the tips that come with your Take Your Pick Tool #144107
Cardstock of your choice. NOTE: Thick cardstock is harder to use.
Black Sharpie

Score marks down
Raised Score Lines

TIPS:

Draw a line with a Black Sharpie at the 6″ mark on your Simply Scored. This will make it easier to line your cardstock back up if it slips while you are scoring.

Hold your cardstock down firmly while scoring.

I sometimes rotate my Simply Scored after I get to the lined up corners. Make sure and line your cardstock corners up along the Sharpie line again.

You can also score diamond/square shapes by lining up the opposite corners with the Sharpie line.

If your Stylus slips while you are scoring, just start back at the edge and score again.

Try to use even pressure with your Stylus while scoring.

You have now learned How to Make Diagonal Score Lines with your Simply Scored Scoring Tool.
