Hello Cards

These two Hello Cards were made by die cutting the Letters only once. I am loving the Pattern Play Bundle, although I was not very excited about the stamp set and contemplated just buying the dies. I am glad I bought the Bundle!

Die Cut your Letters:
~Get your Granny Apple Green Cutting Layer and put the Adhesive Sheet on the back.
~Space out the letters evenly and centered. I laid a ruler down so they would be straight. Use Post-It Notes to hold them in place.
~Run them through your Big Shot. Try to keep your letters in place.

Letter Placement:

~Get both of your Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy Layers. Lay the 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ layer on top of the 2″ x 5-1/2″ layers of the opposite color. (I should have taken a picture. )

Card 1 Hello
~Now take your Granny Apple Cutting Layer and remove the Letters.
~Peel off the Adhesive Sheet backing from the loose letters and lay the letters Adhesive side up.
~Lay the Granny Apple Green die cut layer on top of the Night of Navy 1-1/2″ Layer.
~Insert the die cut letters into the Letter Holes.
~Remove the Granny Apple Green die cut layer.
~Attach the Night of Navy layer to the 2″ Granny Apple Green Layer.

Card 2 Hello
~Peel the backing off the Granny Apple Green die cut layer.
~Attach it to the 2″ Night of Navy Layer.
~Place the center of the “O” inside the “O”.

Attach your Hello Layers to a Card Base.
~Card 1: 3/4″ from fold and 1-1/2″ from bottom edge.
~Card 2: 1-1/4″ from fold and 7/8″ from bottom edge.

Stamparatus & Stamping

Card 1: Dotted Border stamp and Night of Navy ink
Card 2: Scallop Border stamp and Granny Apple Green ink

~Choose one of the 2″ border stamps for Card 1. I chose the Scallop.
~Place your card inside your Stamparatus 1″ away from the Hinges. Put a magnet on the two sides opposite the hinges.
~Place your Border Stamp where you want it either below or above the Hello Layers. Place it so it is close to the Stamparatus Corner where the Hinges meet. (Look for a video on this soon.)
~Lay the Panel on your stamp. Ink your stamp, wiping ink off the panel if needed. Lay the Panel Down and stamp.
~Move the Panel down two Hinge Marks. Ink, stamp.
~Move Panel down again two Hinge Marks. Ink, stamp.
~Rotate your card so you can stamp the other side of your Hello Layers.
~Clean off your stamp and reposition it on your card front.
~Ink, stamp, move Panel just as you did for the other side.

Finish Stamping your Card:

~Choose one of the small image stamps and an ink color ro finish stamping your card.
~I rotated The Dot and Firework stamps when I stamped them. They fit nicely next to each other and leave minimal gaps. I used a stamp block.
Card 1: Dots stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.
Card 2: Firework stamp with Night of Navy ink.
Your Hello Cards are finished!
