Happy Birthday Celebration Card

Do you want to make a FUN Birthday Card for someone using the Birthday Cheer Bundle?  Try making this card.  It is fun to make with coloring, sponging, and a little fussy cutting to give you some fun therapy.  Change the colors to fit the person whose birthday you are celebrating.  This is for my granddaughter.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  Cut your Highland Heather card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Highland Heather card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Run through the Big Shot with the Curls & Swirls Embossing Folder.  Sponge the raised cardstock with Highland Heather or Gorgeous Grape ink.  I think I used Highland Heather ink.  Set aside.
3.  Die Cut Presents
~Watch this Video if you want help using Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.
~Cut a 2-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and Whisper White cardstock.
~Run a Bone Folder over the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, peel off the words paper and attach the plain, sticky part to your Whisper White cardstock.
~Die cut the “Presents” Edgelit using your Big Shot lining up the straight bottom edge of the die with the bottom edge of your cardstock with the Adhesive Sheet on the under-side.
~Peel off the adhesive backing.  Most of the small parts will stay on the backing sheet.  Remove those that remain.
~Stick the die cut to the bottom of your embossed card front.
~Glue the Embossed Card Front to your card base.
4. Party Hats
~Stamp two Party Hats on Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink.
~Color with the Markers of your choice alternating colors on the stripes.
~Fussy cut out the hats.  Be very careful when cutting around the pom-pom at the top so you don’t cut it off.  If you do cut it off just match it up with the hat when you attach the hat to the card front.  (Can you tell which hat I cut the pom-pom off?)
5. Tag
~Stamp your Birthday sentiment on Whisper White cardstock with Gorgeous Grape ink.
~Cut out with the Tag Framelit and your Big Shot.
~Sponge around the edges with Gorgeous Grape ink.
~Cut about 3-4″ of Twine.  Fold it in half.  Thread the folded part through the Tag Hole.  Put the Twine ends through the loop.  Pull tight.
6.  Finish your Card.
~Lay out the Hats and the Tag on your card front where you want them.
~Attach all with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Optional Envelope:  Emboss the Envelope Flap with the same embossing folder you used on your card front.  Watch This Video to learn how easy it is.
