You Deserve a Medal Card: August Paper Pumpkin

Today is the You Deserve a Medal Card from the August World’s Greatest Paper Pumpkin Kit. This Kit encourages us to make a card specifically for someone and give it to them. Have fun!

You Deserve a Medal Card

I only used the supplies from the Kit this time except I used Stampin’ Seal instead of the Adhesive Dots. I did change how the pieces were used,

Deborah’s Card should be posted on Wednesday. My other two cards will be posted on Friday.

CARD 1: SHAKER CARD INSTRUCTIONS:

I will admit the shaker part was a challenge for me, but I finally figured it out.

Gather your Supplies:
~White card base
~Frame: Punch out the center for another card
~Foam Adhesive Frame
~Window Sheet
~Star Sequins
~White Rectangle die cut
~Gold Scallop Circle Die Cut
~Small White Circle die cut

Put together your Frame:
~Lay your cardstock Frame face down on your craft table.
~Attach your Window Sheet over the opening of your Frame. I used Stampin’ Seal.
~Peel off the backing from one side of your Foam Adhesive Frame. Center it over your Cardstock Frame and Window Sheet. Press down evenly while keeping the cardstock flat!
~Sprinkle about 1/4 of the Star Sequins in the center of your card front. I put a Stamp Block on the one corner to keep the stars from sliding all over.
~Now Line up the Frame with your card base making sure the part against the fold and either the top or bottom edges are even. I didn’t do so good at that part. You can learn from my mistakes.
~Shake your card just for fun!

Medal:
~Stamp your Ribbon on the White Rectangle die cut close to the top.
~Now Stamp the small White Circle.
~Attach the stamped Circle to the Gold Scallop Circle.
~Cut the Ribbon out by hand.
~Lay out where you want them on the Window Sheet. I then attached them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your “You Deserve a Medal” Card is finished.

Get your OWN Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail every month!

You can pay $22 + tax every month. The advantage to this is you can order more than one kit for certain months if you want. You can also suspend your kit for whatever reason. When you are traveling if you put your mail on hold, your Kit will be held with your mail.

With a PrePaid Subscription you choose the number of months you want and pay all at once. PrePaid Subscriptions are also perfect for gifts. My one granddaughter has requested Paper Pumpkin for her last two birthdays. Her sister has requested it for her next birthday in January! I usually give 3-Month subscriptions as gifts.
