Wings of Love

Sorry for the late post.  I am behind because I have had really bad allergy problems.  I also spent a couple of days helping my daughter look for a wedding dress.  (We found one!)

Luckily I already have a card made to share with you.  I saw a card with wings and stars and the word “Love” on Pinterest and decided I could do something similar with Stampin’ Up! products.  Of course, it doesn’t look much like the original.  It went together pretty quickly.  The finished size is 5″ square.  This is the first time I have made a card this size.  My regular size was too small to fit everything in and have it still look good.  I also used some colors I haven’t used in a while.  I had a lot of fun!  I hope you enjoy making this card also.

DIRECTIONS:
1.  Cut “Love” out using the Timeless Type Alphabet Sizzlets and Whisper White card stock.
2.  Cut 2 wings using the Elegant Bird Bigz die and Very Vanilla card stock.  Lay them out on the card base and keep the correct side up when embossing with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder.  One wing will go along the top and one down the side.
3.  Punch out 3 Very Vanilla hearts with the Full Heart Punch.  Sponge one with Certainly Celery, one with Marina Mist, and one with Regal Rose.  Run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.
4.  Lay out all your pieces on the Marina Mist card base.  Adhere the wings first with mini glue dots or Tombow multipurpose liquid glue.  The adhere your 3 hearts with Dimensionals.  Adhere “Love” with Tombow glue.  Add your buttons with mini glue dots for the finishing touch.
5.  I have decided to keep this one SO……….. I will have to make another one to give away.  😉

Happy Stamping!
