Wildflower Meadows with Vellum and Candy Dots

I wanted to try a different look using the Wildflower Meadows stamp set and Embossing folder.  I used White Vellum Card Stock to stamp and emboss on.  I really like the look.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Coastal Cabana card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your White Vellum card stock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Color the flowers, stems, and bird on your stamp with the desired color Marker.  Breathe several times over the part of the stamp the you colored.  Lay stamp on your table, rubber side up.  Put Vellum card stock in the desired position on stamp.  Hold in place with a couple of fingers.  Now rub the card stock with either a Clear Mount Block, a Wood Block, or your fingers.  I prefer using a Clear Mount Block because it glides over card stock more easily without moving the card stock.  Move your fingers to the half of the card stock you just rubbed and do the other side.  This technique will give a great impression on all your larger and Background stamps.
3.  You need to get the ink dry now.  There are several options.  1st Option.  Use your Heat Tool.  Keep it moving so you don’t burn your Vellum.  This really takes quite a while as the ink is very wet.  Sometimes this just doesn’t work no matter how long you try.  I did get ink marks on my embossing folder.  2nd Option.  Use Clear Embossing Powder over your stamped images and melt with your Heat Tool.  This seals in the color and is much quicker!
4.  Line up your Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder over your stamped flowers aligning the flowers and stems as desired.  Run through your Big Shot.  If you get ink on your embossing folder, just run it under some water or use your Stampin’ Mist and a tissue to clean it.
5.  Place a Glue Dot one the back side of the Vellum in each corner.  Adhere to your card front.   Now place a Candy Dot over each of the Glue Dots.
6.  Admire your quick and easy All-Occasion Card!
