Triple-Flip Mini Scrapbook Albums

April 30, 2012 Update:  a Tutorial to make this album is now available for $10.

We made this cute album at my class on Friday.  It is such a cute album and can hold fourteen – 4 inch square photos, plus two or three larger photos.  It takes about 2 and 1/2 hours to complete the basic album before you add the photos and embellishments.  It is 5-3/4″ square.

I used a tutorial by Andrea Walford.  Here is a link:  Playful Petals Triple Flip Mini Scrapbook Album.  The Scrappin’ Kit used in the tutorial was in the Summer Mini catalog.  I followed her directions pretty closely.  You can make 2 albums from one Scrappin’ Kit and Whisper White card stock.

I also made one with 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock and 4 sheets of DSP from the Paper Stacks. I tweaked a few things on this one, just like I do when cooking.  It is really fun!

I am thinking of giving some of these as Christmas Gifts with family pictures in them.  I plan on putting pictures from our Germany trip in the Green one.  I have at least downloaded them from my camera card and looked at them a couple of times.

I decided to go ahead and show you pictures of both albums.  I think they turned out really well.

How do you attach the pages into the album? I love that it can be stored like a book. Great job.

I used a lot of sticky strip. I will be selling a tutorial album hopefully by the end of April or early May. I will put the information in in a Post and in The Creative Corner Store when it is ready.
