Trees In Bloom Card

This Trees In Bloom Card uses the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper to die-cut the Leaves. Use any small print patterned paper you want to cut out the leaves.

SUPPLIES:

Bundle: Beauty of Friendship stamps + Beautiful Trees Dies #155834
Ink Pads: Soft Suede
Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Early Espresso
Balmy Blue
Old Olive
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Beautiful Trees Dies (part of Bundle)
Basic Borders Dies #155558
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
(Optional: Adhesive Sheets

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Card Base:
~Balmy Blue: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

2-Die Cut:
Put Adhesive Sheets on the back of your cardstock if desired. Then die cut.
~Old Olive Ground: 1/2″ Straight edge on left side. 1/4″ Straight edge on right side.
~Early Espresso Tree Trunk
~Pansy Leaves: Cut one Full Tree Leaves and one partial for the smaller stamped tree.

3-Finish Your Card:
~Lay your Tree and Large Leaves close to the left side of your card front.
~Stamp your Small Tree with Soft Suede ink close to the bottom of your card base and about 1-1/2 (or 1-1/4″) from the right side.
~Glue your Old Olive Ground piece to your card base. Line it up with the bottom edge and sides.
~Lay your Large Tree and Leaves on your card front to determine placement. Glue the Tree Trunk on first, then the Leaves.
~Trim the Small Leaves to fit your stamped Tree. Glue the Small Leaves over your stamped Tree.
~Stamp your Words with Shaded Spruce ink.
Your Trees In Bloom Card is finished.
