To Spritz or Not to Spritz? Video

To Spritz or Not to Spritz? Is it really necessary to Spritz your cardstock when using 3D Embossing Folders in your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine? Watch the short video below to help you make your decision.

This Video is 8 minutes long

SUPPLIES:

Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Standard size #149653 OR Mini #150673
Embossing Folders of your choice
Cardstock of your choice
Stampin’ Spritzer #126185 filled with water

SPRITZING TIPS:

Use the correct plates for each type of Embossing Folder:
~Regular Embossing Folder: Plate #1, Both #3 Plates
~3D Embossing Folder: Plate #1, Plate #4

To Spritz:
~Move your cardstock as far away from you as you can while holding it.
~Hold your Spritzer as close to your body as you can and aim at your cardstock.
~You may have to adapt depending on how long your arms are.

Lightly shake off the excess water.

Put your cardstock inside your Embossing Folder, sandwich between the correct plates, and run through your Cut & Emboss Machine.

The cardstock should dry within a few minutes depending on how wet it is.

The photos below have a sheet of Garden Green cardstock under the Spritzed cardstock so you you easily differentiate between the two.
