Thanks Card

There are times when you need a Thank You card.  Here is an Autumn-colored So Saffron and Tangerine Tango one.
Scattered Thanks Card

SUPPLIES:
Stamps:  Seasonally Scattered  w#135020  c#135023  Spanish
Ink:  Tangerine Tango ink pad and Marker
VersaMark
Card Stock:  So Saffron
Big Shot: Apothecary Accents Framelits #127003
Stylish Stripes embossing folder
Other:  Dimensionals
Fast Fuse Adhesive or Tombow Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your So Saffron 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your So Saffron card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Run through the Big Shot with your Stylish Stripes embossing folder.  Now turn your card stock so the stripes go the other way to form a plaid.  Run through your Big Shot again.  Watch this video which shows how to make the plaid embossed background and add more color.  Lightly rub your VersaMark ink pad over the raised embossed areas.  This will darken them just slightly with the “watermark” effect.  Use your Tangerine Tango Marker to run along the edges.  Attach to your card base with Fast Fuse Adhesive or Tombow Glue.
3.  Stamp “Thanks” on in Tangerine Tango ink on So Saffron card stock.  Cut out using the largest Apothecary Accents Framelit and your Big Shot.  Again, use your Tangerine Tango marker to run along the edges.  Attach to your card front with Dimensionals.
4.  You can emboss your envelope flap.  Only emboss once as envelope flaps are more delicate than card stock.

Happy Card Making!
