~Put SNAIL on your Whisper White card front around all four edges, two strips down the center both horizontally and vertically.
~Start with your Light Color Cardstock.  Place it at the top of your card front at an angle making sure to cover both corners and the sides so no white shows at the top or sides.

~Next, add your Dark Color pushing it up against the Medium Color making sure there is no white showing between color strips or around any of the side.

3.  Turn so you can see the Whisper White card front.  Cut off all the colored cardstock from around the edges using either scissors or your Paper Trimmer.  Admire the Gradient/Ombre Colors!

4.  Put your Gradient or Ombre Card Front inside your Embossing Folder and run it through your Big Shot.

5.  Glue your Embossed Card Front onto your Card Base.

My OnStage Swaps

These are the cards I used for my Swaps (Cards to Trade with others) at OnStage last week.  They are all the same layout.  They just use different Designer Series Papers (DSP) and coordinating cardstock.  I pre-cut the cardstock and the 3″ x 4-1/4″ DSP.  In just an hour my three friends cut the DSP diagonally and assembled the cards.  I punched, then stamped the sentiments using my Stamparatus so I could stamp two sentiments at once with different colors of ink.  We were surprised at how quickly the cards were finished.  I will put the paper and ink information under each photo.

Wrapped Candy Treat Holder Video

Do you want to make a small candy holder to either give to someone or to put on your holiday dinner table?  Make this quick and easy Wrapped Candy Treat Holder with just a few supplies to wrap any dimensional candy.

This Video is about 7-1/2 minutes long.

SUPPLIES:
Candy from your local store.  I used a small Reese’s candy.
Stamps:  Takeout Treats. Rubber Wood-Mount #147861, Clear-Mount #147858
Ink:  Fresh Fig
Paper:  Nature’s Poem 12×12 Designer Series Paper #146338
Punch:  Scallop Tag Topper #133324
1-1/8″ Scallop Circle #146138
Ribbon:  Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack #146329
Adhesive:  Glue Dots

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Determine the size of the paper to cut.  You can use scratch paper or grid paper to help determine the size of paper you need.
~Measure the widest part of your candy, the part you want on the bottom.  In this case 1″.
~Place your candy about 1/4″ from the edge of your scrap paper.  Roll:  top, side, bottom, side, top.  Add 1/4″. Cut.  In this case 5″
~Cut your paper. In this case 1″ x 5″.
~Determine center measurement and width of candy part you want on the bottom.  Candy is about 1″ wide.  DSP is 5″.  Half of 5″ is 2-1/2″.  Since the candy is 1″ wide we want 1/2″ on each side of the center we will score at 2″ and 3″.
~Punch ends with Tag Topper Punch centering before punching.
~Attach your candy to the bottom with 2-3 Glue Dots.
~Cut about 5-6″ ribbon, fold in half.  Put folded part through both punch holes, tighten up DSP ends, twist ribbon so it is standing up, and put both ends through the ribbon loop.  Pull tight.  Depending on how slippery your ribbon is, you can tie it if necessary.
2.  Stamp your sentiment on Whisper White cardstock in Fresh Fig Ink.  Punch out.  Attach to your candy holder with either Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals or Glue Dots.
Your Treat is ready to give away.

Leaves.
Adhesive NOTE:
~The easiest way to attach the leaves is to put a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet cut to the same size as your cardstock on the back of the cardstock.  I usually forget, but really enjoy just peeling off the adhesive backing to attach the die cut.
~You can also put small amounts of Tombow Glue on the back of your die cut to attach it.
~If you are feeling really lazy, you can cover the back of your die cut with SNAIL.  I will have to let you know later about how long things stay stuck on the cards.
3.  Die-Cut your Leaves.  Cut three detailed large leaves and two small solid leaves from your Copper Foil Sheet.  Put a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet on the back if desired.
~Here is the Sandwich to use:  Big Shot Platform with Thin Die Adapter (OR Multipurpose Platform with all tabs closed.), FLAT Bottom cutting plate, Printer Paper folded in half on the cutting plate, Copper Foil Sheet with shiny side touching the Printer Paper, Die with cutting edge on back of Foil Sheet, Top cutting plate.  The Printer Paper helps keep the Foil Sheet shiny and smooth.  Without the Printer Paper, your Foil Sheet picks up all the marks on your cutting plate.
4. Finish Your Card.  Lay out the leaves and the sentiment on your card front.  Attach them.
5.  Optional:  Add a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock on the inside of the card to write on.  Stamp a Cajun Craze Leaf in the lower corner if desired.

~Punch your Tags:  Three in Tranquil Tide cardstock, Two in Very Vanilla cardstock.
~One Tranquil Tide Punch will be on the top of the layers.  Put SNAIL on the back.
~Take the Very Vanilla Tags.  Cut one in half lengthwise and the other in half width-wise.  Take a piece with the top point and attach it to the Tranquil Tide tag with SNAIL on the back trying to get the Very Vanilla to show evenly along the top of the Tranquil Tide Tag.  Repeat on the bottom side.  Attach more SNAIL to the back of the base tag.  Now attach a Very Vanilla end piece using your fingers to line up the sides.  Repeat with the other end piece tag.  You now have two layers.
~Repeat the Tag Layering process with the last two Trangil Tide Tags.  Cut one in half lengthwise and the other in half width-wise.  Put SNAIL on the back of the layered Tag.  Attach the pointed part to the top and bottom., then the end parts.  Wahoo!  Your basic Tag is layered!
~Stamp Wishing You a Dapper Day on Very Vanilla cardstock in Tranquil Tide ink.  Cut apart as shown.  Attach to the Layered Tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3.  Measure your Layered Tag to see if you need to adjust this measurement:  Cut your Very Vanilla rectangle at 2-1/4″ x 3″.  You will use this to mount your layered tag on.  Attach your Layered Tag.
4.  Cut your DSP at 4″ x 5-1/4..  Lay your Layered Tag and Burlap Ribbon on top.  Attach your Tag.  Cut your Burlap about 4-1/2″ long.  Run SNAIL along both sides of the back of the Burlap.  Attach to DSP.  Trim excess.  Attach DSP to card front.

Daisy Card

This Daisy card is easy to make and it is easy to get a 3D look for the Daisy on the Card.  The stamp set and Punch are available at 10% savings as a bundle until May 31st, 2018.

This Video is 8-1/2 minutes long.

Big Shot:  Petal Pairs Embossing Folder #145656
Punch:  Daisy #143713
Adhesives:  Tombow Glue
Glue Dots
Stampin’ Dimensionals

DAISY TIPS:
1.  Hold each Daisy Petal about 1/4″ from the flower center.  Curl with your Bone Folder to the tip of the Petal.  Do this for all Petals.  If you do it right, the flower will stand up like a spider.  (Luckily this isn’t creepy or crawly!)
2.  The easiest way to put the flowers together is to put Glue Dots behind the center of the top flower.  Light lay each of the Petals in the top flower so they are between the Petals on the bottom flower.  Whe they are positioned how you like them, press the flower centers together to attach them with the Glue Dots.

Classic Label Punch: Shorter or Longer Video

Have you ever wished the Classic Label Punch came in a variety of lengths?  Well, your problem is solved-without spending any more money or using up more space for all the punches this would involve!  Follow the quick tips on this video to punch both Shorter AND Longer sentiments with your Standard size Classic Label Punch.  Enjoy using this Punch Technique on your cards.

This Video is 3 minutes 15 seconds long.

SUPPLIES:
Stamp sets used:  Birthday Banners  Photopolymer #141506
Colorful Seasons  Photopolymer #143726
Ink:  Call Me Clover NEW In Color available June 1st.
Punch:  Classic Label #141491
NOTE: The Birthday Banner stamp I used was not  meant to be straight.  I pulled it straight as I put it on my stamp block.

TIPS:
1.  Cut your cardstock 3/8″ wide.  This is between the 1/4″ and the 1/2″ mark on your ruler or Paper Trimmer.  Leave it longer than you need it to be.  This extra length gives you something to hold on to.  If the length is too short, attach your 3/8″ cardstock to a Post-It Note so you have something to hole onto.
2.  You can put the strip in several ways:
~Stick it in through the top between the metal layers where the punching occurs.  Make sure the strip is lined up in the hole which will form the punched shape.
~Stick the strip in through the side.  Pull up the end that went in first.  Line up the other end with the pointed Punch hole.  Line up the strip so it is straight in the punch hole ditch.  Punch.
~Stick the Punched end in first, then line up the other end so it is where you want to punch.  Again, make sure the strip is lined up with the sides of the punch hole.  Punch
3.  The Classic Label is the perfect size for Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
