Spooktacular Halloween Card

I made this Spooktacular Halloween Card for the Love Your Stamps Challenge. Next time I think I will use Black Embossing Powder when stamping on the Cobweb Paper.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut your papers:
~Gorgeous Grape card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Monster Bash Cobweb DSP: 4: x 5-1/4″.

2. Stamp your Cobweb Paper.
I used the Stamparatus and stamped each word and image on the paper 4-6 times to get it dark enough to actually read. You could stamp with VersaMark and use Black embossing powder and a heat tool if you want.
NOTE: I used both Black and Gorgeous Grape inks, but there is not much difference. You can just use Black for all of the stamped words and images.

~Position DSP on Stamparatus.
~Lay out word stamps on the DSP where you want them. Press the Stamparatus Panel on them.
~Ink up Words with Black and stamp them. Repeat until they are dark enough to easily read

~Now, use your second Stamparatus Panel. Place the Jars on one side and connect to panel, Ink up with Gorgeous Grape ink. Stamp. Repeat stamping until dark enough. Clean your jars stamp. Place on other side of DSP. Now Ink, stamps, repeat until dark enough.
~Clean your stamps and put away your Stamparatus.

3. Stamp your Spooktacular Halloween in Pumpkin Pie ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die.
~Cut the Long Ornate Frame from Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
NOTE: I put a piece of folded printer paper on top of the die and cardstock before adding the top plate.
~Now Run through once.
~Pull out both plates with the cardstock still inside, flip them over and run through forward and backward. The tiny pieces should fall right out.

4. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of both die cuts. Layer the Words on top of the Ornate Frame. Attach to your cobweb DSP.

5. Now put your finished card front onto your card base.
Your Spooktacular Halloween Card is finished.
