Sparkly Christmas Card

Winter & Christmas Card & Project Ideas

Today I have a Sparkly Christmas Card for you.  I received a similar one as a swap at Convention.  I used the First Christmas stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  I used Silver Glass Glitter and a Rhinestone for the Sparkly bling.  This is a quick card to make.  It would be easy to make multiples of this card.  Just do all the Glass Glitter last.

Card Stock:  Whisper White
Ink:  Midnight Muse
Markers:  Night of Navy
Cherry Cobbler
Big Shot:  Delicate Designs embossing folder #127023

Silver Glass Glitter #120995
Sticky Strip
Rhinestone #119246
Stamp-a-ma-jig #101049

DIRECTIONS:
1.  This card uses a single 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of card stock.   Place your Delicate Designs embossing folder on your card front with the Stampin’ Up! logo on the inside of your card front.  Make sure you line it up with the fold line and the bottom.
2.  Place a line of Sticky Strip along the line made by the embossing folder.  Leave backing on until the last step.
3.  Stamp the First Christmas Baby Jesus in a Manger and the Star stamps in Midnight Muse.  Line up the legs of the Manger with the top of the Sticky Strip.  I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig for all my stamps on this card.
4.  Color the sentiment stamp with Markers.  Color the words “Christmas”, “Love”, and “Grace” with your Cherry Cobbler Marker.  Color the other words with your Night of Navy Marker.  Remoisten with your breath and stamp in desired position.
5.  Place the Rhinestone in the center of the Star.  I like using my Piercing Tool to help me place it where I want it.
6.  Now remove the backing from your Sticky Strip.  Place your card on a sheet of paper.  Dump the Silver Glass Glitter over the Sticky Strip.  Press to help Glitter adhere well in all the little spots.  Pour excess Glitter back into jar.
7.  Admire your Sparkly Christmas Card!
