This Reverse Hot Foil Birthday Card uses a piece of Gold Foil left from a practice card. Now you don’t have to feel like you are wasting your Hot Foil pieces after you use them with a Hot Foil Die. You can get TWO Cards from one piece of Foil!

SUPPLIES:
Cardstock: Basic White cardstock
Very Vanilla cardstock
Glow of Harvest 12×12 Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) While supplies last
Tools: Stampin’ Hot Foil System
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
Hot Foil System: Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies
Reverse Hot Foil Die
Gold Hot Foil (I used a leftover piece that I had used in another project.)
Ribbon: Peaceful Pine 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tear & Tape
INSTRUCTIONS:
Plug in your Hot Foil Machine.
Press the White Button. It will take about 6 to 6-1/2 minutes to heat up.
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Very Vanilla Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~DSP Print: 4″ x 5-1/4″
~Gold Foil if necessary just larger than what you need
~Basic White Layer for Foiling: Larger than your Foil piece.
Wait for the Beep:
When it Beeps put on your Reverse Hot Foil Die. Click the White Button. Wait about 1-1/2 minutes.
Next Beep:
~Place your Foil on your Reverse Die with the Gold side down.
~Now put your Basic White cardstock layer over your Foil.
~Add your Green Shim and your Clear Spacer.
~Unplug your Hot Foil Machine before moving it to your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
~Hold on to your Foiling Layers while moving your Hot Foil Machine to your Cut & Emboss Machine.
~Slowly crank your Foil Machine through your Cut & Emboss Machine.
~Place your Foiling Machine back on its Silicone Platform,
~Remove all the layers.
~Peel the Foil off your Cardstock and admire.
Make your Card:Reverse Hot Foil Birthday Card
~Trim your Foil piece with your Paper Trimmer or a Die.
~Decide where you want to put your Ribbon on your DSP Print.
~Put Tear & Tape where you want your Ribbon and attach your Ribbon.
~Glue your Foil piece onto your DSP Card Front.
~Finally, glue your DSP Card Front to your Card Base.
Your Reverse Hot Foil Birthday Card is finished.
