Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack Ornament

This Ornament Punch Pack Ornament is pretty easy to make. Choose either cardstock or Designer Series Paper to make your Ornament. If you are making more than one Ornament, you can choose different papers for each ornament!

SUPPLIES:

Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack #150647
1″ Circle Punch #119868
2″ Circle Punch #133782
Call Me Clover Cardstock
Real Red cardstock
Gold Glimmer Paper #146958
Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine #124262
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Paper Trimmer #152392 OR Simply Scored Tool #122334

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Punch your pieces:
~Call Me Clover: five Large Ornaments, AND one 2″ Circle
~Real Red: five Small Ornaments
~Gold Glimmer Paper: one 1″ Circle

2. Cut 6″ to 8″ of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
~Put a 1″ strip of Glue on the 2″ Circle. Attach your Baker’s Twine to the Glue strip.

3. If desired, score all Ornament Punch pieces down the center with either your Paper Trimmer Score Blade or your Simply Scored Tool. Fold all Score Lines with your Bone Folder.

4. Put about 1″ of Glue on the Fold Line of one of the Large Call Me Clover pieces. Place the Fold Line on top of the Baker’s Twine.
~Lay out your other Large Call Me Clover pieces on the 2″ Circle.
~Glue on the Fold Line and attach. Repeat until all the Real Red pieces are glued down.

5. Now lay out your Small Real Red pieces on top of the Call Me Clover piece. Put Glue on the Fold Line as before. Attach all Real Red pieces to Ornament.

6. Glue on your 1″ Glimmer Paper Circle as a finishing touch.
Your Gleaming Ornament Punch Pack Ornament is finished.

Variations:
~Choose other colors of cardstock
~Use one or two patterned papers
~Use six punches in each size. This will force each piece to stand up more.
~Use Ribbon instead of Baker’s Twine to hang your Ornament.
~Use cardstock for the 1″ Circle and either stamp or write something on it. For example: a name, a year, or Merry Christmas or other sentiment.
~If you want a double-sided Ornament, just punch and repeat what you did for the first side.
