This Posies and Ribbons Card uses the retiring Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder and the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack. You can use any Embossing Folder and Ribbons.
SUPPLIES:
Cardstock: Basic White cardstock
Lemon Lolly cardstock
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder (Available while supplies last)
Ribbons: 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Available while supplies last)
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Tear & Tape
Glue Dots if needed
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Lemon Lolly Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Basic White Card Front: 3-3/4″ x 5″
2-Card Front:
~Emboss you Card Front with the Embossing Folder.
3-Ribbons:
NOTE: I do not pre-cut my ribbon, but work off the spools.
~Decide where you want your Ribbons on your Card Front.
~Put Three strips of Tear & Tape on your Card Front where you want your Ribbons.
~Work from the lower ribbon to the higher ribbon.
Right half of Tear & Tape:
When attaching your Ribbon leave about 6″ loose to tie with.
~Attach your Lower Ribbon to the right half of your Tear & Tape, then the Middle Ribbon, and the Top Ribbon.
Left halt and Finish your Ribbons:
~Wrap from the Right side around the back and attach your Ribbons to the Left Side of your Tear & Tape.
~Pull both sides of Ribbon together in the center and cut. You will trim later.
~Tie all ribbons at the same time into a knot. I actually tied two knots.
~If necessary, use a Glue Dot close to the knot to get you Ribbon to got the direction you want.
~Trim the Ends.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Glue your Card Front to your Card Base.
Your Posies and Ribbons Card is finished.
