Pine Tree Cut Out Christmas Card

We made this Pine Tree Cut Out Christmas Card at my Stamp Class last week. It is a fairly simple card to make. Just choose the die with the leaf cut-outs to get this look.

Pine Tree Cut Out Christmas Card

SUPPLIES:

Cardstock: Real Red
Whisper White
‘Tis the Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper #153489
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Layering Ovals Dies #151771
Pine Woods Dies #153563 (Also part of a Bundle)
Ribbon: Real Red 3/8″ Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon #151155
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals
(Optional) Glue Dots

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut Your Papers:
~Real Red card base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Whisper White Layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″
~Red Pattern DSP: 3-3/4″ x 5″

Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine:
~Whisper White Scallop Oval: Use the largest Scallop Oval die
~Green Pattern DSP: Choose an Oval die smaller than the Scallop die you used and large enough to cut your Tree from.
~Tree: Use the Tree die with the Leaf Patterns on it and cut it from your Green DSP Oval.
~Glue the two Ovals together.

Finish Your Card:
~Glue your Whisper White layer and your Red DSP Layers together.
~Wrap your Ribbon around your Whisper White and Red DSP Layers. Tie a knot (or a bow) about 1/2″ from the right side. Put Glue Dots under the ribbon on the back if desired.
~Attach your Tree Ovals to your card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Glue your completed card front to your card base.
Your Pine Tree Cut Out Christmas Card is finished.
