Painted Glass Celebrate Card

I am trying to use some products that I have and this Painted Glass Celebrate Card was fun to make using lots of the dies in the set. This is another card I wish Stampin’ Up! still sold Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets, but Tombow Glue worked just fine.

INSTRUCTIONS:

*1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″. Watch This Video if you need help with making your own card bases.

2. Die cut your pieces from Bermuda Bay cardstock. You can fit all the dies on your cardstock piece and cut them all at the same time. Watch This Video if you need instructions on die cutting.

3. Lay out your dies in the desired positions. Glue on the top and bottom first, then center the middle die cut. Last, add the small square inside the bottom large square.

4. Words & Heat Embossing:
Watch This Video if you need instructions on how to Heat Emboss.
~Rub your Embossing Buddy over the area you will be stamping. This will help prevent embossing powder sticking where you don’t want it.
~Stamp your Words on your cardstock Vellum with VersaMark ink.
~Dump your embossing powder over the stamped words. Remove the excess embossing powder and put it back in the jar.
~Melt your embossing powder with your Heat Tool constantly moving the Heat Tool tip to prevent warping your Vellum.

5. Finish Your Card:
~Punch out your Words.
~Put SNAIL adhesive on the back and attach it to your card over the Stained Glass die cuts.
Your Painted Glass Celebrate Card is finished.
