Oh Whale in the Sea Card

We made this Oh Whale Card in my Stamp Class on Friday.  This is a cute Children’s Card that can be used for any occasion.  I really enjoy the coordinating Clearlit to cut out the Whale and other little things like the fish and anchor.  My grandson was over last week as I was making this card.  He stamped and die cut his Whale.  We had to put on a Googly Eye instead of just leaving the the eye white.  I have included the numbers for the items I used that are also Digital for use with My Digital Studio.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Pacific Point card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Cut your Bashful Blue card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Run through your Big Shot using the Cloudy Day embossing Folder.  Adhere to your card base with either SNAIL or Tombow Glue.  If I am giving this to a child under 5-years-old I adhere everything with Tombow Glue.
3.  Cut your “Ocean Waves” Sunshine & Sprinkles paper at 2″ x 5-1/4″.  Drag the edges on your Pacific Point ink pad to add some color and contrast.  Adhere to your Bashful Blue card front.  (Note:  There is a Jumbo Wheel that has waves that you can use instead of the Sunshine & Sprinkles paper.  Children do love using wheels so they could roll out the waves for you.)
4.  Stamp your Whale in Gumball Green on Whisper White card stock.  Make sure you leave enough room around the Whale so the other images can be cut out.  Now line up your Happy Whale Clearlit over your Whale and cut it out with your Big Shot.  Save the extra die cut images you want to use.  Adhere the Whale with either Dimensionals or Tombow Glue.
5.  Stamp the desired “Water Spout” image above the Whale using Pacific Point ink.
6.
Color the die cut fish with Melon Mambo Marker (or desired color marker) and the die cut anchor with the Midnight Muse Marker.  Adhere with Tombow Glue.
7.  Admire your cute Whale card.

Happy Stamping!
Nendy
