My May Paper Pumpkin Cards

Here are my May Paper Pumpkin Cards. This Kit was designed by Shelli Gardner, co-founder of Stampin’ Up! I made them pretty close to the pictures. They were fun to make! I didn’t have to do any cutting except fot the ribbon and twine. I always have to do lots of thinking though.

SUPPLIES:

I used the Kit supplies and added:
larger Early Espresso ink pad
SNAIL
Glue Dots
Stampin’ Dimensionals
I am saving the adhesives in the Kit for next week when my grandchildren will make the rest of the cards.

Blue card base with flowers

CARD 1 – BLUE CARD BASE

*1. Cut your Ribbon: 4-1/4″ and 5″. This is to the tip. Cut your angle inwards. Run SNAIL down the back of each piece and attach to your card base.

2. Stamp your flowers in the upper left corner. I should have stamped mine closer to the top fold line.

3. Stamp a Large Label with your sentiment. I stamped each phrase separately. Attach one punched out Blue Flower image with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then attach the Label to your card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your card is finished.

Nest card base

CARD 2 – NEST CARD BASE

*1. Stamp your words on a Medium Label. Attach Flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach Label to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

2. Tie a bow using both twines. Attach to card base with a Glue Dot or two. You will have to squish them in so they don’t show. Trim the ends of your bow.
Your Card is finished.

Pink Flowers card base

CARD 3 – PINK FLOWER CARD BASE

*1. Stamp your words on a Small Label. Attach your Bird with several Glue Dots squishing them in so they don’t show if necessary. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Label and attach it to your card base.

2. Tie a bow using both Twines. Attach it to your Label with Glue Dots. Trim ends if desired.
Your Card is finished.

Splattered card base with birds and a feather

CARD 4 – SPLATTERED CARD BASE

*1. Stamp 3 birds on your card base.

2. Choose a Medium Label and stamp it. You can attach it now with Stampin’ Dimensionals or wait until Step 4.

3. Attach your Feather with Glue Dots to the far left edge.

4. If you will notice, I did my ribbon totally different than in the picture. I guess I missed it. So I cut two pieces about 1″ long and attached them with SNAIL and put them under the label in between the Stampin’ Dimensionals. I put them at different angles because they just did not look right when I tried to put them at the same angle. Add your Label now if you haven’t yet.
Your card is finished.
