I decided to try out one of the My Digital Studio card templates. I used the “Celebrate Any Day” (#127757) 4.25×5.5 Happy Birthday card template. This card started out with the Happy Birthday Banners and the stripes at the bottom. I added a Bashful Blue card stock background and changed the Opacity to 30. I then added “A Year in Review-curve punch (#125743) ” and resized it to fit the page better. I colored it Bashful Blue. The “make a wish” is from the Big Bold Birthday stamp brush set (#118833). I changed the color to Cherry Cobbler. The “Bow” is also from the Big Bold Birthday stamp set and colored Marina Mist. The most important thing I did to achieve this look is to add Drop Shadows. I clicked on an element: Banners (& all embellishments) & punches: Opacity 75%, Blur-Medium, click to apply to all embellishments (& punches) on the page. The Drop Shadows for the Stamps: Opacity 50%, Blur-halfway between none & medium. So my challenge for you today is to play with My Digital Studio and the Drop Shadows.
