Love You to the Beach Seashell Card

I made this Love You to the Beach Seashell Card as a Make & Take at my Team Meeting Wednesday night. It uses the Layered Stamping Technique. I chose a Beach Theme because I need a break from Halloween, Fall, and Christmas. It was a fun break!

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Friends are Like Seashells #158203 (also part of a Die Bundle)
Ink Pads: Pacific Point
Calypso Coral
Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Basic White
Coastal Cabana
Bermuda Bay
Adhesives: Stampin’ Seal

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:
~Bermuda Bay Card Base: 5-1/2″ s 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Small Basic White Layer: 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
~Large Basic White Layer: 3-3/4″ x 5″
~Small Coastal Cabana Layer: 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″
~Large Coastal Cabana Layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″

2-Prep for Stamping:
~Layer your Large and Small Layers together and determine where your want them. You can center them as I did, or angle them, or have them closer to an edge.
~Put a short strip of Stampin’ Seal on the back of your Small Basic White Layer. Touch it a lot with your finger to remove some of the sticky. You want to be able to remove your Layer without tearing.
~Place your Small Basic White Layer on your Large Basic White Layer where you want it.

3-Stamping:
Except for your Words stamp all larger images so they are stamped on both the Small and Large Layers.
~Words: Pacific Point ink on the Small Basic White Layer.
~Large Shells: Pacific Point ink. I rubbed the back of the cardstock while the stamp was still on the cardstock layers. That is why the top Shell stamped so much better than the bottom.
~Round Sand Dollars: Calypso Coral ink
~Fill in with the Star Fish using Crushed Curry ink.

4-Finish Your Card:
Attach:
~Small Layers together
~Large Layers together.
~Small Layers to Large Layers, then attach all layers to your card base.
Your Love You to the Beach Seashell Card is finished.
