Alex designed and made this Let’s Celebrate You Sunflower Card. He colored the stamp with Markers. I really like the edge technique he used.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Celebrate Sunflowers #152517
Ink Pad: Gorgeous Grape
Stampin’ Write Markers: Bumblebee
Soft Suede
Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Thick Basic White #159229
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Thick Basic White Card Base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and Fold at 4-1/4″
2-Stamp Your Flower:
Color directly on your stamp with the Markers:
~Bumblebee: Flower Petals
~Soft Suede: Flower Center
Open your mouth wide and breathe on the colored stamp 5-6 times to remoisten the ink on the stamp. Then stamp.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Stamp your words with Gorgeous Grape ink. Remember that straight down and straight up prevents “Ring around the Rubber”.
Edges:
~Draw a line along the edges and fold of the card front.
~Then, draw lines as shown around the edges.
