January Paper Pumpkin Card & Treat Holder

The January Paper Pumpkin Card & Treat Holder are fun to make and great for Valentine’s Day or other “Heart” Occasions. I will admit to being a little confused at the beginning with two “Envelopes”. The larger one with the print is a small treat holder. Mine is holding two Hershey Nuggets.

*1. Stamping
I would recommend using Clear Block E to stamp your Square as you will be able to see the whole card front and get your stamped Square straight.

~Square: Mint Macaron ink on your colored card front.
~Scallop Borders: Stamp in Mint Macaron on all four edges of your square.
~Heart Die Cut: Stamp Heart with Real Red ink.
~Circle Label: Stamp Words in Memento Black ink.
~Bee: Stamp Bee die cut with the Bee stamp in Memento Black ink.

2. Finish your Card:
~First attach y our Heart to your card front. I used SNAIL.
~Now add your Circle Label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Attach your Bee with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Your Bee Card is finished.

Envelope & Treat Holder

3. Envelope:
Stamp your Heart and Bee Mine in Mint Macaron ink on the front of your plain white Envelope.

4. Treat Holder
~Choose a die-cut Heart. I chose the Gorgeous Grape Heart.
~Decide where you want your Die Cut Heart and your Stamped Heart.
~Stamp your Heart. I used Gorgeous Grape ink for mine.
~Attach your Die Cut Heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

~Stamp Bee Mine with Gorgeous Grape ink on the small Rectangle Label which is on the sheet with the Bees. I lightly dragged the edges on my ink pad. Attach this Label with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Add one of the small Flower Embellishments to your Treat Holder.

~Tie a bow through the Holes on your Treat Holder Flap. They suggested 8-1/2″ of Baker’s Twine. I needed more twine. This length was hard to tie.

~Put your relatively flat treats inside. This would be perfect for Ghiradelli chocolates. I used two Hershey Nuggets.
~Add a Glue Dot beside each hole to hold your Treat Holder closed. To prevent tearing just touch the Glue Dots a few times before closing the flap.
Your January Paper Pumpkin Card & Treat Holder are finished!
