Happy St Patrick’s Day Card

I made this Happy St Patrick’s Day Card for my daughter and son-in-law’s Anniversary March 17th. I had a lot of fun turning this card from a picture in my head to a card!

Make YOUR Version of this card using two colors of your choice.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Anniversary Card

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Always in My Heart #154337 (Happy Anniversary inside the card)
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green
Pacific Point
Punches: Heart Punch Pack #151292
Embellishments: Heart Charms #154282
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Glue Dots

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut Your Papers:
~Granny Apple Green Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″
~Card Fronts: Granny Apple Green & Pacific Point: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

Cut Your Triangles:

First Cut:
~Cut both layers together. Line up the edges.
~Position opposite corners along the cutting Groove on your Paper Trimmer. It is easier to not bend your corners if you start cutting in the middle.

Second Cut:
~Rotate your Card Fronts keeping the edges lined up. Now cut a diagonal the opposite direction.
~Cut as you did on the First Cut making sure all the pieces and layers are lined up.

Make Your Card Front:

~Choose one Triangle to attach first and Glue it to your card base. I started with the Granny Apple Green one at the top. Make sure the corners are the same and it is lined up with the card base edge. This is why Tombow Glue is good for this step as you can wiggle the cardstock to where you want it.

~I next did the Pacific Point Triangle that goes along the fold. The Triangle needs to line up with the Card Base edge and the edge of the Triangle next to it.

Finish your Card Front:

~Do the Bottom Green Triangle next lining up the edges with the card base bottom and the triangle next to it.

~Now you can put the remaining Pacific Point Triangle in the space between the other two Triangles. Line up all three sides.
~Your Card Front is finished!

Hearts:
You will need to punch:
~Regular Hearts: 2 Green, 2 Blue
~Scallop Hearts: 4 Regular (2 Green, 2 Blue)
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of all eight Hearts.
~Layer the Regular Hearts on top of the Scallop Hearts using a Blue and Green to form each Heart.

Heart Charms:
~The easiest way to attach these Heart Charms is with Glue Dots. Use your thumb or fingernail to push the Glue Dot into a thin line.
~Once your Glue Dot is in a Thin Line attach it to the back side of your Heart Charm. I used three thin Glue Dots for each Heart Charm.
~Attach each Charm about 1/2″ from the bottom point of your Heart Layers.

Finish Your Card:
~Lay your Hearts on your card front triangles where you want them. I chose to let the tips of the card front triangles show a bit under the Hearts.
~Attach each Heart.
Your Happy St Patrick’s Day Card is finished.
