I made this Happy Hello Ninja Birthday Card for my grandson who turns 3 today. The characters are from the “Hello Ninja” show on Netflix. This show has been his choice for over a year now. This is a Die-Cut Punch Art Card.
SUPPLIES:
Stampin’ Write Markers: Basic Black #100082
Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Balmy Blue
Misty Moonlight
Melon Mambo
Petal Pink
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Layering Circles Dies #151770 OR 2-1/4″ Circle Punch
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Balmy Blue Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Misty Moonlight Layer: 1-5/8″ x 5-1/2″
~Melon Mambo Layer: 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
~Balmy Blue Layer: 1-3/8″ x 5-1/2″
2-Ninjas:
~Choose the circle die size you want. Mine is 2-1/4″ diameter. You will use this die to cut all your circles. OR use the retired 2-1/4″ Circle Punch.
~Petal Pink cardstock: Cut two circles
~Misty Moonlight and Melon Mambo cardstock: Cut one circle from each color
~Draw the eyes and eyebrows on each Petal Pink circle. Mine are slightly above the half-way point.
~Cut the bottom half of your Misty Moonlight and Melon Mambo Circles to 1″ measured from the center. I just cut them with Paper Snips. Trim if necessary. Glue to the bottom of your head below the eyes.
~For the top of the mask I started cutting the top half of the Circles about 1/4″ from the straight cutting line. I curved the cut upwards and back down and tried to leave a 1/4″ gap as shown in the photo. Lay it down and trim if necessary. Glue to head.
~Draw glasses on the Melon Mambo Ninja with the Melon Mambo Marker.
3-Happy Birthday Layers:
NOTE: You can write the Words directly on the card base. I messed up. The layers cover up my mistake…
~Write Happy Ninja Birthday on your Balmy Blue Layer with your Basic Black Marker.
~Glue the Balmy Blue Layer onto the Melon Mambo Layer. Glue these layers onto the Misty Moonlight layer. Glue to your card base leaving about 1/8″ from the top.
4-Finish Your Card:
~Lay your Words and your Ninjas on your card base where you want them.
~Glue them onto your card base.
Your Happy Hello Ninja Birthday Card is finished.
