Happy Father’s Day-Three Versions

Happy Father’s Day!  I hope you all enjoy time with your Father and the other men in your life!  Remember all the good times you had with your Father and the important things he taught you.  I used the retired Mocha Morning DSP.  Choose your DSP and 2 coordinating colors and a sentiment and you can use this layout for a variety of occasions.

DIRECTIONS:
Card Base.
Cut all papers.  Front Layer:  DSP 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″.  Middle Layer:  Brushed Gold 3-3/4″ x 5″.  Adhere with SNAIL.  Use Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack to evenly pierce holes in the DSP corners.  Put brads in holes.  Now adhere to Back Layer:  Early Espresso 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.  Adhere to Very Vanilla card base.

Version 1-Layered Decorative Label Punch (Medium).  I used the Decorative Label Punch and the Key Tag Punch.  Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock.  Punch with Key Tag Punch.  Use the Decorative Label Punch to punch 1 Brushed Gold and 2 Early Espresso labels.  Cut 1 Early Espresso Label length-wise down the center.  Trim the points.  Cut the other Early Espresso Label width-wise down the center.  Trim the points.  Click Here if you would like pictures of how to do this (Click “next page” two times-Nov 12, 2010-Layered Top Note).  Put SNAIL on the back of your Brushed Gold Label and attach the Length-wise cut Label parts and then the width-wise cut Label parts to the back of the Brushed Gold Label, trying to keep the exposed Early Espresso even all the way around.  Attach punched sentiment with Dimensionals.  Attach Layered Label and Sentiment with Dimensionals to card front.
Version 2-Small Decorative Label Sentiment (Most steps).  Layer the Brushed Gold and Early Espresso Decorative Labels the same as Version 1.  Stamp Sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock using Black StayzOn ink.  Punch with Decorative Label Punch, making sure the sentiment is in the center.   Place punched sentiment on a Post-It-Note and slide it back it your punch so the sentiment edge is touching/aligned with the long edge of the punch.  Punch.  Now attach your sentiment to another Post-It-Note and repeat with the other long side.  Adhere to the layered Gold and Espresso Labels with Dimensionals.  Adhere whole layered sentiment to card front with Dimensionals.
Version 3-Labels Framelits (Easiest).  Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock.   Use the smallest Label Collection Framelit and your Big Shot to cut it out.  Use the next larger size Label Framelit to cut out your Brushed Gold.  Layer with Dimensionals and attach to card front with Dimensionals.
