Happy Birthday Teen Boy Card

I made this Happy Birthday Teen Boy Card for my Grandson, Alex, who turns the BIG Thirteen tomorrow. I used his favorite T-Shirt color and added suspenders.

Happy Birthday Teen Boy Card

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments #151595
Ink Pad: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green
Shaded Spruce
Very Vanilla
Thick Basic White
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Layering Circles Dies #151770
Suit & Tie Dies #154322
Adhesives: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:
~Thick Basic White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Granny Apple Green Shirt Layer: 4-1/8″ x 5-1/2″. (Note: it started out as 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″, but I did not get the neck half circle exactly in the center. So I trimmed off 1/8″ on the one side.)

2-Shirt:
~Measure exactly in half at the top and make a pencil mark so you can get your half circle in the center.
Cut:
~a half Circle using one of the smaller Layering Circle Dies from the top of the Shirt Layer to form the neck hole..
~Two suspenders from Shaded Spruce cardstock.
~a Very Vanilla suspender thingie for each suspender.
~Glue the suspenders centered between the neck hole and the edge.
~Add the suspender thingies close to the bottom of the suspenders.

3-Finish Your Card:
~Stamp Happy Birthday with Shaded Spruce ink on your Shirt.
~Glue your Shirt to your card front.
~I am thinking of stamping lots of Happy Birthdays on the card inside on the left. He is pretty excited about this birthday!
Your Happy Birthday Teen Boy Card is finished.
