This Happy Birthday Spring Flowers Card was made for my DIL birthday yesterday. I love how the coloring with Stampin’ Blends turned out!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Card Base:
~Cut your Highland Heather Card Base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

2-Stamp & Color Your Flowers:
~Flower image: Memento Black ink on Thick Basic White cardstock.
Color with Stampin’ Blends:
~Flower Centers: Daffodil Delight Light
~Blue Flowers: Night of Navy Light along the Black stamped shading part of the larger Flowers. Balmy Blue Light to fill in the Petals. Do an extra layer of Balmy Blue light over the Black stamped shading area.
~Purple Flowers: Dark Highland Heather for the shaded lines in the smaller flowers. Fill in the Petals with Light Highland Heather. Color over the shaded parts with another layer of Light Highland Heather.
~Large Leaves: Color the Veins and Shading areas with Dark Granny Apple Green. Fill in the Leaves with Light Granny Apple Green. Add an exta layer of Light Granny Apple Green over the shaded areas and veins.
~Small Leaves: Use the Fine tip of the Light Granny Apple Green.

3-Die Cut:
~Stamp your Words with Gorgeous Grape ink on Thick Basic White cardstock.
~Cut out your Words with the Label from the Natural Prints Dies. You can sponge around the edges if you want. I wish I had.
~Use the largest Rectangle Frame to cut out your colored Flowers.
~Cut out a Balmy Blue Frame using the same Rectangle Frame die.

4-Finish Your Card:
~Glue the Balmy Blue Frame to your Card Base.
~Add your Colored Flowers inside the Frame with Tombow Glue.
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the Back of your Word Label and attach to your card making sure the ends are even with the Card Base edges.
