This Golden Bee and Frames Card shows off Hot Foiling. Alex was finally brave enough to try it out after editing all my Hot- Foiling Videos. I like the way he used multiple Frames and added a Golden Bee in the center.
All of the Framing is Gold Foil.
The only thing stamped is the Bee.
SUPPLIES:
Bundle: Flourish & Frames Stamps + Hot Foil Dies + Cutting Dies
Ink Pad: Golden Glow ink pad
Cardstock: Golden Glow cardstock
Basic White cardstock.
Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine: Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies + Hot Foil System
Hot Foil System: Gold Foil
Tool: Take Your Pick Tool with the small Scoring Tip
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
~Golden Glow Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Basic White Card Front: 3-3/4″ x 5″
~Optional Card Insert: 4″ x 5-1/4″
2-Hot Foiling:
~Plug in your Hot Foil System. It will take about 6 minutes to heat up. Listen for the Beep.
~Choose the Hot Foil Dies you want to use and arrange them on your Table. I like to line them up on my Card Front.
~When your Hot Foil Platform beeps… Lay your Hot Foil Dies, flat side down, on your Hot Platform. Use the Scoring Tip to move your dies where you want them.
~Press the White Button to heat up the dies. This will take about 1-1/2 minutes.
~When it beeps… Lay your Foil over your Dies, then your cardstock (try to center it), then your Green Shim, then your Clear Spacer.
~Unplug your Hot Foil Platform and SLOWLY crank it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
~Remove your Hot Foil Platform and place it on its Station.
~Remove the layers.
~Peel the Foil off your Card Front and admire the shiny Foil.
3-Finish Your Card:
~Stamp your Bee with Golden Glow ink in the center of your Frame.
~Glue your Card Front onto your Card Base.
~If desired, glue your Card Insert inside your Card.
Your Golden Bee and Frames Card is finished.
