I knew I wanted to make a Gingerbread House Box. Some Paper Pumpkin Kits just inspire me to do something totally different.
SUPPLIES:
November 2020 Jolly Gingerbread Paper Pumpkin Kit
Cinnamon Cider cardstock
Early Espresso ink pad
Tear & Tape
Windows:
Daffodil Delight cardstock
Tasteful Labels Dies #152886
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Your Box Bottom:
~Cut your Cinnamon Cider cardstock at 3″ x 3″.
~Score at 3/8″ on each of the four sides.
~Cut out the corner squares.
~Put Tear & Tape on each of the 3/8″ sides.
Decorate your House:
~Choose two of the House Panels.
~Decorate as desired. I stamped around the doors with Early Espresso ink.
~Cut two Daffodil Delight Windows using the smallest Tasteful Labels Circle die and your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
~Optional: Run your Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Write Marker along the side edges of your House Panel to cover the white edges.
Put Your House Together:
~Put Tear and Tape on the small flaps at the end of each House Panel.
~Remove the backing from one side flap and attach it to the House Panels together so they are straight.
~Now to add the Box Bottom.
~Remove the adhesive backing from two adjoining side flaps.
~Fold your House Panels into a squared corner where the side flap is. Attach first one side of the box to the House Panel side lining up the bottom edges.
~Now attach the other side of the Box Bottom to the House Panel. Great! Two sides are attached!
~Remove the Adhesive Backing from the other two Box Bottom sides.
~Get the House Panel with the Side Flap and remove the Adhesive Backing from the flap. Attach this House Panel side to the Box Bottom bending the Side Flap around the corner of the Box Bottom.
~You can now a
~Put the Box Bottom onto the House Panel Side. You may need to manipulate the sides to get everything to line up properly.
Your Gingerbread House Box is ready to fill! Have fun thinking of a variety of things to put in it!
