First Christmas

Winter & Christmas Card & Project Ideas
Here is a fairly quick card to make using a couple of Sneak Peek Spring Catalog items.  I wanted to use the First Christmas stamp set, but wanted to do something different.  I recently received my Preorder of Spring Catalog and Sale-a-bration items and decided I would use the NEW Oval Framelits to cut out the image.  I decided to use the Layered Labels stamp set and the Apothecary Accents Framelit to go behind the image of Baby Jesus in the Manger.  I cut out the star and used a NEW Large Rhinestone in the center.  I even finally used the Mixed Medley Hostess stamp set I wanted so much.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut Garden Green card base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.  Place card front in Fancy Fan embossing folder and line up as desired.  Fold the card back behind the embossing folder.  Run through your Big Shot.
2.  Stamp the large Layered Label stamp in Real Red ink on Very Vanilla card stock.  Cut out with the coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelit and your Big Shot.  Put Dimensionals on the back, but don’t adhere to card front yet.
3.  Stamp Baby Jesus in the Manger using Black StazOn ink.  Cut out with the desired NEW Oval Framelit and your Big Shot.  Drag the edges across your Real Red ink pad to put a little emphasis on the cut out shape.  Use Dimensionals to adhere it to your Layered Label image.
4.  Stamp the star in More Mustard.  Cut it out with your Paper Snips.  Put a full Dimensional in the center back and a Large Rhinestone on the center front.  Don’t adhere yet.
5.  Stamp the “Friend” image from the Mixed Medley stamp set in Real Red on Very Vanilla card stock.  Punch out with the 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle punch.  Stamp the Merry Christmas in Garden Green in on Very Vanilla card stock and punch out with the 3/4″ Circle Punch.  Adhere to the Scallop Circle with Dimensionals.  Put Dimensionals on the back of the Scallop Circle.
6.  Lay out all images in the desired position.  Remove Dimesional backs and adhere in desired position.
7.  Admire your new Christmas card.
