INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut your Thick Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

2. Cut your Poppy Parade card layer at 4″ x 5-1/4″.
~Stamp at least four large poppies in Smoky Slate ink on your Poppy Parade card layer.

3. Stamp your Poppies on stems in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.
Color your Poppies with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
~ Flower and bud: Poppy Parade Light and Dark Blends
~Leaf: Call Me Clover Light and Dark
~Stems: Call Me Clover Light
~Die cut with the largest Painted Labels die.

4. Make the Mats from Basic Black cardstock.
~Poppies: 2-1/8″ x 3-5/16″.
~Striped DSP Mat: 1-3/4″ x 4″.
DSP: 1-1/2″ x 4″. If you want more black showing at the side cut your DSP at 1-1/2″ x 3-3/4″.
~Attach your Mats to your Poppies and DSP with SNAIL.

5. Ribbon.
~Tie a knot about 1-1/4″ from one end. I wish I would have tied it about 1/2″ from the end.
~Put a strip of Tear & Tape (SNAIL is not strong enough to hold this slippery ribbon) about 1/2″ from the bottom of the DSP.
~Lay your Knot down on the Tear & Tape where you want it first, then spread out the rest of the ribbon along the Tear & Tape. Use your fingers to flatten out the Ribbon. Trim at the edges of the cardstock as needed.

6. Finish your card.
~Attach your DSP layer about 1-5/8″ from the botton of the Poppy Parade card layer lining up the edges so the DSP layer is straight.
~Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Poppy layer and attach where desired.
Your Elegant Painted Poppy Card is finished.
