This Colorful Wall Hanging from Paper Pumpkin Kit was made because I found the Card Bases too beautiful to fold or cut up. This is a quick and easy Home Decor project to make. You can also use patterned paper cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.

Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack #155475
Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755
Grid Paper Three choices
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Cut Your Papers:
NOTE: You could use a full 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of cardstock for each Mat. I wanted a 1″ border on all sides so I cut mine.
~Garden Green Mats: Cut Three 7-1/2″ x 10-1/2″
~Garden Green Strips: Cut Five 1/2″ x 3″
2-Mat Your Pictures:
~Choose one of each Card Base from the Kit. Leave them flat.
~Glue each Card Base Picture onto a Garden Green Mat.
3-Middle Picture:
~Decide which Picture you want on top, in the middle, and on the bottom.
~Take your Middle Picture and center it on your Grid Paper.
~Decide where you want to put your Four Strips.
~Put Glue on 1″ of your Garden Green Strip and attach it to the back of your Garden Green Mat where you want it. Only attach the 1″ part with Glue on it and let the other 2″ hang over the edge.
~Repeat with the other Three Strips.
4-Attach Other Pictures:
~Make sure your Pictures are facing the same direction since you will be only looking at the back. If desired you can write “Top” and/or “Bottom” on the back of each Mat.
~Position your Middle Picture and one other Picture on your Grid Paper so the sides are even.
~Add Glue to 1″ on the end of the Strips you will be attaching to your other Picture. Make one last check to make sure the Pictures are facing the same direction.
~Attach your Picture to the Strips using your Grid Paper to make sure the two Pictures are 1″ apart and the sides of the Mats are even.
~Repeat this process with your last Picture.
5-Hanging Mechanism:
~Find your last 1/2″ x 3″ Strip.
~Choose the color of Baker’s Twine you want to use.
~Cut your Baker’s Twine at 4″.
~Put a strip of Glue at each end of the 3″ Strip and Lay the ends of your Baker’s Twine over the Glue. Push the Baker’s Twine into the Glue with your Fingernail.
6-Finish Your Wall Hanging:
~Lay your Top Picture on your Grid Paper and center it on the dark line.
~Cover the Baker’s Twine side of your Hanging Mechanism with Glue and cover the attached Baker’s Twine with Glue.
~Attach to the top back of your Top Picture making sure the top of your Hanging Mechanism is lined up with the top of your Mat.
~Let dry for a while before hanging.
