I finally used my Chevron Punch and combined it with the Expressions Thinlits to make a Fall Card for Thanksgiving.
SUPPLIES:
Card Stock: Cajun Craze
Smoky Slate
Bermuda Bay
Big Shot: Expressions Thinlits Dies #132171
Punch: Chevron #132154
Other: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut your Smoky Slate card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2. Line up the edge of your Cajun Craze card stock with the Line on your Punch Top. Punch. Move card stock over two chevrons and punch again. Move over the other way looking at the bottom of the punch and make sure you don’t punch over the edge of the card stock. Adhere to card base.
3. Cut your “Thankful” out of Bermuda Bay (or desired color) card stock using your Expressions Thinlit die. Watch this video if you need more instructions on this technique. Make sure and put wax paper between the die and your card stock. Use a toothpick to gently push the paper out of the die. Adhere with Tombow Glue using the smallest amount of glue possible.
4. Admire your fun Chevron Thankful Card.
