Blue Flower Card

I am still working on updating my blog.  Please let me know if anything does not work correctly so I can fix it.  This may take a while. I guess it is taking me longer to get back to normal than I expected.

You can see three NEW blog post projects each week starting on Monday, September 4th.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Marina Mist card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″.  Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Stamp on Whisper White card stock:
~Leaves:  Stamp 3 sets of leaves.  Solid stamp=Lemon Lime Twist ink.  Lined stamp=Wild Wasabi ink.
~words in Memento Black ink.  Leave enough room around the edges for the Framelit to cut it out.
~Flower:  Flower Center stamp:  Pacific Point ink.  Large flower stamp:  1st in Soft Sky ink.  2nd in Marina Mist ink-Rotate the stamp 180 degrees so you get a mor full looking flower.  Smaller flower stamp:  Pacific Point.
3.  Cut & Punch:
~Punch the Leaves with the Leaf Punch.
~Cut out your words with the Stitched Shapes Framelit that best fits.  I left space on the left side for the flower to overlap the die cut.
~Use scissors to fussy cut your flower.  It goes pretty quickly if you cut a fairly close circle around the outside of the petals.  Then you just need to cut inbetween the petals.
4.  Adhesive:
~Put a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional behind each of the leaves.
~Put either Mini or Regular Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the flower.
~Lay out everything where you want it.  Attach the leaves first, then the Stitched Framelit die cut, then the Flower.
5. Decorate your Envelope.  Stamp some leaves on your envelope on the lower front corners and on the flap.  Get the receiver excited to open your card!

You can buy all the supplies to make this card at My Online Store.  Make sure and use the Hostess Code for the month if your order is under $150.
