Big Shot Deal for New Demonstrators ends October 31st!

I found this FUN video on Josee Smuck’s site.  I hope you have discovered by now how much I LOVE using my Big Shot!!  If you join Stampin’ Up as a new Demonstrator by Halloween, you can get a Big Shot for FREE!  Already have a Big Shot and still want to join?  You can choose $100 in catalog merchandise instead of the Big Shot……. But only until October 31st!  Email me today  if you are interested in join.

Even my 3 year old grandson loves turning the Big Shot handles and feeling his “strong muscles”!!  I was looking on one of my Pinterest Boards yesterday for a certain card I wanted to make.  He kept seeing pictures of the witch’s boots made with the Holiday Stocking die.  He kept asking me if he could make an orange one.  He was so excited to roll the die and paper through.  Even more exciting was choosing the embossing folder and seeing the “magic” of the paper having dots poking up all over on it when he opened the embossing folder.  (He chose the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.)  He had to run around and show everyone his “magic” boot!  I don’t usually run around and show everyone, but I do like showing what I have made.

Houndstooth embossing folder  page 218  #123134
Adhesive:  Sticky Strip

DIRECTIONS:
1.
Cut 2 each:  Holiday Stocking and top cuff, 3″ Circles.
2.
Punch equal size partial circles from each 3″ circle die cut.  Adhere to toes of each boot, making sure they are even and stick out as desired.
3.  (Note:  When useing embossing folders on two sided creations, Make sure you have the die cut facing different directions when you put it in.  The side with the “Stampin’ Up!” logo is the front.)  Run boot through Big Shot using Polka Dot embossing folder.  Run cuff through Big Shot using Houndstooth embossing folder.
4.  Adhere the boots together using Sticky Strip AND making sure to leave an opening if you want to put things inside.   (Neither Snail or Tombow held it together well this time.  Maybe it was just all the “help” the boot was getting, or maybe the embossing made a difference.)
5.  Adhere the cuff to the boots, aligning it so it is even.
6.  Stamp the Owl on Whisper White card stock using Cajun Craze ink.  Punch with Owl punch.  Adhere to desired spot on boot.
7.  Put something in it.  I added Alex’s Halloween pencils that he had chosen.
8.  Admire your Halloween creation!  You might even want to show it to someone 🙂

Spread the love
