Bees Thank You Card

Kiev made this Bees Thank You card for my Thank You Tutorial for the month. It is a nice card reminding us that Spring is here!

Due to me being away from home with my son in the hospital I will use it for a post instead of the Thank You Tutorial.

INSTRUCTIONS:

*1. Cut your Whisper White card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.

*2. Cut three 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ strips of Daffodil Delight cardstock. Spritz lightly with water on both sides and put into your Dynamic embossing folder. Run through your Big Shot. Repeat with the other two strips.

*3. Cut four Bees from Basic Black cardstock using the Bee Thinlit.

*4. Stamp your sentiment in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. Cut out with the coordinating Layer Oval Scallop Framelit.

*5. Choose one of the Daffodil Delight strips and wrap Linen Thread about 1″ from the top. Wrap several times, then tie a large bow.

*6. Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the three Daffodil Delight strips and the sentiment. Put a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional on the back of each Bee.

*7. Lay out all your pieces on your card base. Attach.
~I usually attach the outside strips first. These strips are about 3/8″ from the sides. Then I center the middle strip.
~Then attach your sentiment.
~Attach your Bees last.
Your Bee Card is finished.
