SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship (Oops. I thought I had taken out all the retire stamps.)
Ornate Thanks #158301
Ink Pads: Magenta Madness
Night of Navy
Cardstock: Melon Mambo
Basic White
Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine: Basic Borders Dies #155558
Tools: Post-It Notes
Adhesive: Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue OR Stampin’ Seal

BASIC TECHNIQUE INSTRUCTIONS:

The die will go through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine easier if it is straight up and down on your cutting plate. It is harder to turn the handle when the die goes across your cutting plate as shown when cutting the last side

~Cut your cardstock at 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ or the same size as your card front.
~Place your Border Die along the edge of your cardstock. I like to cut the long edges first. There is no particular reason. Cut the sides in any order you want.
~If needed, use two Post-It Notes to hold the die in place on your cardstock and cutting plate.

CARD INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Cut Your Papers:
~Basic White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″. Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
~Border Frame: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

2-Cut Your Border Frame as shown in the video.

3-Card Front:
~Measure the narrowest parts of your Border Frame to determine what size to cut your Card Front. My narrowest parts measured 3-1/8″ x 4-3/8″. I cut my Card Front at 2-33/4″ x 4″.
~Stamp your Flowers with Magenta Madness ink on your Card Front.
~Use Night of Navy ink to stamp your Words.

4-Finish Your Card:
~Attach your Card Front to your Border Frame. Now attach your Border Frame to your Card Base.
~Add Embellishments if desired.
Your Basic Borders Dies Frame Card is finished.
