Balloon Birthday Card

I made this Balloon Birthday card for a swap.  I was in the mood for blues after all the reds and pinks I have been using the last few months.  This card is pretty quick and easy and can even be given to men!  Just pick the Birthday boy or girl’s favorite color(s).

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.  Cut your Pool Party card base at 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″  Score and Fold at 4-1/4″.
2.  Prepare your pieces:
~Stamp the Balloon filler design you want on the Tempting Turquoise card stock in Pacific Point ink.  Cut out with your Big Shot and the Balloon Framelit.
~Stamp your words in Pacific Point ink on Pool Party card stock.  Cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelit.  Color the edge with the Pacific Point Marker.
~Stamp your small balloons on Tempting Turquoise card stock with Pacific Point ink.  Punch out with small Balloon Punch.  Add to your words with Dimensionals.
3.  Cut your Pool Party card front at 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Lay your large Balloon and your words layer in the position you want.  Now cut out a large Balloon with the Balloon Framelit so it is off to one side as shown.
4.  Assemble:
~Your large Balloon will use Dimensionals to attach to the card front.  The part that hangs over the Balloon cut out will need a stack of two Dimensionals so it will be flat inside of sinking into the Balloon cut out.
~Attach your word layer with Dimensionals.
5.  Stamp small balloons on your envelope so the receiver will get excited just seeing the envelope!

Happy Birthday Card Making!
