April Paper Pumpkin Cards

The instructions for these April Paper Pumpkin Cards were even more vague than usual. I ended up watching the Stampin’ Up! Video and still had troubles. But, I finally figured it out and made them.

I only used the supplies from the Kit.

Here is the video I ended up watching to help me out.

Card 1: Z-Fold Card

1. Choose your Kit Pieces:
~Card base with lighter printed end
~Green paper with words
~Leaf die cut
~Small White Banner die cut
~Butterfly die cut
~Ribbon: 6″
~Pearls

2. Fold your Card Base:
See the Photos above for help.
~Lay your card base so the printed side is facing up and laying directly on your craft table.
~Fold the rest of the card base over it.
~Then fold the end White section back to form the Z-Fold.

3. Finish Your card:
~Attach your Green Paper with Words to the Z-Fold top. I laid it out where I wanted it, then put my finger on the part that hung off the edge so I would know where NOT to put my SNAIL. Put the SNAIL on the part that needs it, then attach it to your card base.
~Use SNAIL on the back of your Ribbon and put it close to the bottom of your Green Paper with Words.
~Now attach your Leaf die cut.
~Stamp your Words on your Small White Banner. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. Place it over your Leaf die cut.
~Cut a Stampin’ Dimensional in half. Put one half behind each wing. Place it on your card.
~Last add some of the Pearls.
Your Z-Fold Card is finished!

Card 2: Tree Card

*1. Choose your Kit Pieces:
~Card Base with Dark Green Strip
~Light Green Banner die cut
~Orange Banner die cut
~Tree die cut
~Leave the Bird die cut attached so you don’t lose it.
~Pearls

2. Stamping:
~Get your Tree Leaves stamp. You will stamp this so the Rounded Part is at the side of your card base and the straight part goes up and down. Hopefully, you center it better than I did.
~Stamp the first part of the Tree Leaves.
~Line up the Leaves on the flat part of the Stamp with the Leaves you already stamped. Stamp. The hard part is over!
~Stamp your Words on the Light Green Banner die cut. I used my Stamparatus and stamped 3 times so the words were darker.
~If needed, stamp a small leaves stem on one side of your Light Green Banner.

3. Finish Your Card:
~Place the Tree over your stamped leaves paying attention to the part of the trunk that hangs over. Add your adhesive and attach.
~Add your Bird die cut to a Tree Branch.
~Layer your Stamped Banner over your Orange Banner. Attach to your card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
~Place Pearls where you want them.
Your Tree Card is finished.

On Second Thought: After looking at my card for a while I decided to tape down the bottom Green Flap. I am much happier with it. See Deborah’s Card on Wednesday to see how I wished I would have done it. I like these April Paper Pumpkin Cards now!

Would you like your OWN Paper Pumpkin Every Month?

Would you like your OWN Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail every month? Then sign up for a Paper Pumpkin Subscription before the 10th of the Month to get the Kit for that month.

Month-to-Month Subscription: You will be charged each month when they ship your Kit. The advantage of this is you don’t have to worry about your subscription running out. You can also suspend your Kit for a month or two. If you are away from home, just tell the Post Office to hold your mail and deliver it after you are back home.

If you would rather just pay once, then choose a Prepaid Subscription. This is also perfect for gifts. My almost 9-year old granddaughter has requested Paper Pumpkin for her birthday three years in a row! I give her the 3-Month subscription.
