Die Cutting & Embossing

A NEW Die Cutting and Embossing Machine will be coming soon. It will be made by Stampin’ Up! Use this machine with your Embossing Folders, 3D Embossing Folders, and Dies. I use my Big Shot.

Embossing Folders & 3D Embossing Folders. These give texture to your cardstock.
~Embossing Folders: use with two cutting plates. You will need to remove the Thin Die Adapter Plate or have one tab open depending on the Platform you have.

~The thicker 3D Embossing Folders make a deeper, more detailed embossed pattern. Use with the 3D Embossing Folder Plate. Adjust your Platform the same way you do for regular Embossing Folders.

Dies

~Dies: metal shapes used to cut your cardstock. Use your Thin Die Adapter or have all your Tabs closed depending on your Platform.

There are several different styles of dies.
~Label and Shapes dies. You can layer these or use just one. Stamp on them with image and/or Word stamps.

~Coordinating Dies: Choose these dies with a specific stamp set and stamp.

~Detailed Dies. Are you in the mood for frills and details in the die cut? There are usually lots of small pieces that need to come out after cutting. Use your Take Your Pick Tool and the Die Brush Tip to help remove these pieces quickly.

~Word and Letter dies form a word. Glue it onto your project.

~Image dies: You can choose these images to add dimension to your project. Some examples are: grass, butterflies, flowers, etc.

~Border dies. Use either along the edges of your cardstock.

~Box & 3D Dies: Use these dies to quickly make a 3D shape. The Mini Curvy Keepsake Box is one exampls.

~Embossing Dies will emboss your cardstock. Some dies cut and emboss your cardstock.
