INSTRUCTIONS:
Fold and put together your box.
1. Make the Tag Parts.
Circle Tag and Merry Christmas Banner
~Cut out the Cherry Cobbler using the Quilt Builder Framelits. You will need the two pieces to get the center “stitched” part and the outside Framelit so it will cut out the shape.
~Choose the Scallop Circle Framelit that your Cherry Cobbler piece will fit on. Cut it out from Whisper White cardstock. Put it in the Quilt Top Embossing Folder and run through your Big Shot.
~Attach the Cherry Cobbler Quilt Shape to the Scallop Whisper White Circle with either Stampin’ Dimensionals or Tombow Glue.
Banner Tag
~Stamp Merry Christmas on Whisper White cardstock with Garden Green ink. Cut out using the Banner Framelit.
~Cut out a Garden Green Banner using the same Framelit. You will use just the outside Frame part. Check the underside of your Framelit as this part usually gets stuck.
~IF you are leaving the box Clear OR using the Paper Inside the Box option-Glue your Tag on Now. Put a large stamp block on top to apply pressure so the glue will stick. You can also use either Tear & Tape or Fast Fuse to hold it onto the outside of the Acetate Box.
2. Optional: Paper inside the box.
~Choose 2 sheets of matching 6” x 6” DSP.
~Cut ½” off the top of both pieces. Attach these to the inside top and bottom flaps of your box with Glue Dots. Trim off the excess.
~Cut both pieces to 5-1/4” wide by 5-11/16” high (just less than 5-3/4”)
~Score both piece along the 5-1/4” side at ½”, 1”. The 1/2″ piece at the edge is the side tab. The piece between the 1/2″ and 1″ score lines is the side of the box.
~Glue each ½” side tab to the straight edge of the other piece. The inside part of your box is finished.
~Glue your Circle Tag and Banner Tag to the outside of the box. I always put a large Stamp block on top to hold them in place for a bit.
3. Optional: Paper outside the box.
~Choose 2 sheets of 6” x 6” DSP. This will be easier if you choose a pattern that has no specific up and down pattern.
~Cut ½” off one side of both sheets. Then cut into ½” x 4-1/2” strips.
~Cut both sheets at 5-1/2” wide (you just did this cut) x 5-3/4” high.
~Glue one sheet to the front and side of the box starting at either the left or right front edge, the wrap around the side finger pinching along the fold. Trim excess. Repeat with other sheet. Trim off the excess at the sides.
~Glue your Circle Tag and Banner Tag on Front of Box.
