A Pinch of Gold Embossing Powder Technique

Try this A Pinch of Gold Embossing Powder Technique on your next Card. It is a quick and easy technique. You can use any color of Embossing Powder to accent your stamped image.

This Video is 4-1/2 minutes long.

SUPPLIES:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch stamps (also part of a Punch Bundle)
Ink Pads: Pumpkin Pie ink pad
Garden Green ink pad
VersaMark ink pad
Cardstock: Very Vanilla cardstock
Heat Embossing: Metallics Embossing Powder
Heat Tool
Punch: 2″ Circle Punch

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Stamp Your Image:
~Pumpkin: Pumpkin Pie ink
~Stem: Garden Green ink

2-Pinch Technique:
~Put down a scratch paper.
~Lay your stamped image on your scratch paper.
~Cover your stamped image with VersaMark ink. A freshly reinked ink pad will really help. I used a brand new ink pad this time.
~Pinch some Embossing Powder between your fingers. Slowly rub your fingers over your project to let the Embossing Powder sprinkle onto your image. If you want larger splats of Embossing Powder rub your fingers together quickly over your project.
~Add more Embossing Powder until you get the look you want.

3-Melt with Heat Tool:
~Plan on it taking longer than usual for the Embossing Powder to melt. It took me 1 minute and 43 seconds to heat emboss on the video.
~After your Embossing Powder is completely melted you can either punch, die-cut, or fussy cut your stamped and embossed image.

Have fun trying A Pinch of Gold Embossing Powder Technique.
