How do you like my new banner and background? I do enjoy variety! I made them with My Digital Studio. Quick and fun!
Here is a Thanksgiving card we made at my last class. I love looking at Fall leaves, even though I don’t get to see very many where I live.

Soft Suede-card front layer, scrap for punching
Always Artichoke-scallop punch
Pear Pizzazz-scrap for punching
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Spice Cake for punching

River Rock
Soft Suede
Punches: 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle
2-3/8″ Scallop Circle
Boho Blossoms
Embellishements: Gold Brad
Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon
Crochet Trim
Tools:
Paper Piercing Tool
Mat Pack
Directions:
1. Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink in desired position on card front.
2. Use Rock n’ Roll Technique to stamp leaves around sentiment on card front. Rock n’ Roll Technique. Choose 1 stamp and 2 ink colors-1 light, 1 darker. Ink stamp with the lighter color. Then gently roll stamp edges in the darker ink. Stamp.
3. Punch a 2-3/8 Scallop Circle from Always Artichoke card stock. Lightly rub scallops on Early Espresso ink pad or sponge edges.
4. Punch 2 1-3/4″ Scallop Circles from two patterns of Spice Cake DSP. Cut each circle in half and rub edges on Early Espresso ink pad or sponge edges. a. Hold pattern 1. Place pattern 2 over the pattern 1 piece, aligning the scallops. Use adhesive of choice. b. Place 2nd pattern 1 piece over the single layer of the pattern 1 piece, align scallops. Adhere. c. Place last piece under one side and on top of the other side so the patterns alternate. Adhere.
5. Using Boho Blossoms punch, punch largest flower from Soft Suede and small flower from Pear Pizzazz. (Note: It will be easier if you poke a hole in the paper first, then center the hold inside the flower, then punch the flower.) Put the brad through these flowers, then through the DSP Scallop Circle. Put Dimensionals on the back of the DSP Scallop Circle and attach to Always Artichoke Scallop Circle.
6. Place Dimensionals on the back of the Always Artichoke Scallop Circle, leaving the backings on. Decide where to place it on your card front. Tie Seam Binding Ribbon around card front: place small piece of Crochet Trim after first part of knot, then complete knot and trim ribbon edges. Use mini glue dots if necessary to hold the ribbons in place.
7. Remove Dimensional backings from Scallop Circle and adhere in desired position.
8. You now have a beautiful Fall/Thanksgiving card!
